We are seeking a talented and motivated Benefits Analyst to join our team. The Benefits Analyst plays a critical role in managing and administering our employee benefits programs.
This position is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of benefits administration and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage all aspects of the company's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee perks.
- Analyze benefits data, trends, and metrics to make recommendations for plan design and cost-effective solutions that align with business objectives.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely delivery of benefits services.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements related to employee benefits, and make recommendations for program updates as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of benefits communication materials, such as open enrollment guides, plan summaries, and educational resources for employees.
- Handle benefits-related inquiries from employees, HR team members, and external partners, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and legal departments, to ensure seamless benefits administration and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other relevant federal and state laws.
- Proficiency in benefits management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex benefits concepts to a diverse audience.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification is a plus.
