DeCamp Construction is a high-end general contracting company specializing in luxury residential construction, remodels, and custom outdoor living spaces. We are looking for a skilled, reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team and work on a variety of high-end remodels, additions, and new construction projects throughout Monterey and Santa Cruz counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, including panels, wiring, lighting, and outlets.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure all work meets local codes and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Work collaboratively with other trades and project managers to complete jobs efficiently.
• Ensure clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times.
• Provide exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in residential electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on high-end construction projects.
• Experience with panel upgrades, smart home wiring, and energy-efficient solutions (preferred).
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders and in tight spaces as needed.
• Journeyman license preferred but not required.
