Job Title: Payroll Supervisor

Salary: $47,500- $52,000

Job Title: Admin Payroll Supervisor

Reports to: Admin Payroll Manager 

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Job Purpose: To provide primary operational support for the Payroll Manager by administering the day to day aspects of all payroll tasks in the Admin office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews and approves weekly agency payroll.
• Reviews and approves agencies’ PAR, payroll action requests.
• Prepares payroll cost report for Admin – Accounting for weekly and monthly reporting needs before Tuesdays 9:00AM.
• Reviews federal and multi state tax returns for distribution centers.
• Support WCD distribution center payroll supervisors’ inquiries and requests to solve payroll issues.
• Serves as back up in the absence of Admin Payroll Administrator.
• Work with other duties/projects assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can complete an assigned task with little or no supervision. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent phone skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience: 

• Knowledge of payroll systems and be able to grasp processing schemes and systems quickly. 
• Knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
• An associate degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time.
