Job Description
- The job requires developing and facilitating user trainings on new or modified systems in cooperation with departmental resources.
- The candidate will be required to provide analytical and technical guidance and advice to users and associates regarding the functional capabilities of the SAP modules and technical environment.
- The role involves investigating and evaluating alternative technical solutions and making recommendations regarding prevalent business issues.
- The job requires communicating complex specifications with technical and non-technical resources to implement new process/solutions that meet business requirements.
- The candidate will be required to analyze new opportunities to leverage SAP and other technologies across the organization to improve business processes.
- The role involves translating SAP requirements to functional specifications for reporting, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- The job requires supporting the development and maintenance of project scope/objectives through requirements gathering, goal prioritization, planning, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plans.
- The candidate will be expected to ensure a detailed analysis of incoming service requests, incidents, problems or fast-track demands.
- The role involves planning, controlling and implementing cross-departmental and transnational IT projects, possibly involving internal and external partners.
- The candidate will be required to recommend, design, develop, and implement business processes and systems involving 3rd party technologies that may or may not interact with SAP in order to effectively meet business objectives.
- The job involves acting as a liaison between the Technology Department and business units.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Mathematics.
- The candidate must have 5-7 years of experience working within SAP FICO/COPA modules; S4 HANA experience is preferred.
- The candidate must have an understanding of FICO configuration concepts related to: GL, AA, AR, AP and COPA.
- Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies, knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, and experience with the SAP Fiori environment are required. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and product costing is a plus.
- The candidate must demonstrate and maintain expert knowledge/leadership in functional support of SAP in the areas of Finance and Controlling (FICO).
