Job Description

Water Oak Cafe and Bakery is looking for a friendly and energetic Server to join our team! As a server, you will be the face of our cafe, ensuring guests have a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities:  

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about the menu
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables and service stations
• Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system
• Assist with restocking supplies and light cleaning duties as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines 

Qualifications:  

• Prior experience as a server, cashier, or in a customer service role is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required 
• at least 18 years old
